WHY DO WE FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT THIS?
We have entered the next age of technology with AI. Everywhere we look, people are working on exciting products, solving problems, and making fortunes. But Muslims are nowhere in the picture.
"We missed out on all the past waves. Think of any tech visionary and you won't be able to list any Muslims."
The names that come to mind are always Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman. In fact, if you search for the top 100 tech business persons, you won't find any.
The same applies to companies that society revolves around: YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Google, Instagram,
TikTok, Nvidia, Intel, Sony, WhatsApp.

In fact, forget tech, look at any field.
Where are the Muslims?
We are 25% of the world population. Imagine a world where we had 25% ownership, participation, and representation. It is only logical that today's world feels biased and stacked against us if we did not participate in building it.
It's time to stop resting on past laurels and start building our future.
THE 20-YEAR HORIZON
If we don't start participating today, then logically, 20 years from now, we will be in the same helpless situation. Still upset about how companies censor our voices and how the public doesn't understand anything about us. Why would they?
While this is a wider problem, our focus is the tech world (and finance). Tech drives the world. It is the easiest field to enter and the most lucrative industry. It checks all the boxes.
PARTICIPATE
A call to action for all Muslims who want to uplift the state of our community.
DISRUPT
Now is the best time. Everything is getting disrupted. There hasn't been this much potential in our lifetimes since the internet went online.
OUR GOALS
WHAT'S NEXT?
The goal is clear, but the path is something we build together. We want Salamworks to be a place of action.
Some of our members in the group are already working on their own startups, others are looking to get started, yet others are still learning. Let's pool our knowledge and skills to help get things off the ground. For example, if someone is struggling with marketing, we can lend a hand or refer to somebody in our network.
